Ahhh, Arizona in the springtime. There isn't much better. The sun, breeze, smells- orange blossoms, flowers, trees... it really is amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone! I can't tell you how many times we exclaimed, "wow! it feels awesome out here!". Now its snowing in Colorado, so there ya have it.

The softball of the week was just the icing on the cake! The team played awesome! It seems like the girls are enjoying each other and playing really, really well! We only saw six games, but they were 5-1 in those six games!! They came away from the week at 6-4. So, can I just say that the softball team hasn't won six games on the spring break trip in... um.... ever??!! Seriously, keep your eyes posted... I'm sensing some conference champs- or at least a berth to regionals!!!

We got to spend time with the two cutest nieces anyone could ask for! That was fun! Karsen is walking around and getting into everything and Kameryn is a sweet little snoozer that eats all of the time! We visited with lots of friends and wore poor Avery out! Avery played outside constantly and I think she may have wore Grandpa and Grandma out! More pictures of the cousins to come later.

Baby Smith is growing like a champ. The 'big' ultrasound is in 2 weeks. So, we'll find out the gender then!!! My first attempt at a poll is on the side- be sure to weigh in with what you think baby Smith may be!
Hey folks! Not much new in Colorado... the weather is regularly breaking into the 50's and sunny, so it's great to get outside some more! Jeff started his master's program this month and is figuring out the world of online learning. Western Governor's University is where he's attending (if you say it with a strong cockney accent, its much more fun) and he's enjoying it so far. He's not really too far into anything yet- he had to do an introductory class about online learning and now he's starting Algebra 2! Hopefully he'll get through this one pretty quick. He's got Biology up next (I think) and it looks pretty darn intensive!

This week in the life of new baby Smith, is the week of the softball! Obviously, I love this week since its all about softball and its when I finally start feeling better. Geez, I wasn't sure if it was ever going to happen, but the dizziness is gone, I'm not having as strong of a reaction to food (again the dizziness, sleepiness, semi-drunk feeling), and I don't need to sleep half of the day away! So, its pretty awesome.

Speaking of softball, we're going to Arizona soon to see the good ole TU Lady Trojans play!!! I can't wait! Only a couple more weeks until a week of softball! The softball season here is in the fall- it just doesn't match. Fall= volleyball and soccer. Not softball. As it gets warmer, you're supposed to get out and play some ball! Not watch lacrosse. We're driving again- yuck.

Avery's great. She didn't get into the preschool we applied to. It was some freakish year of enrollment, so they didn't have enough room. We got her into a different one, so all is well. She's pretty excited about it! Whenever we ask her about where she learned something new that we haven't seen, she always says she learned it at school- she doesn't go to school. So we're not quite sure what she's talking about, but she's pumped about learning new stuff. Her new thing is drawing smiley faces- they're awesome! She always puts them in a balloon and sometimes adds hair on the top and calls it daddy!

Alright, see ya!
